Hello there! My name is Simone and I'm going to attempt to keep up a photography blog. :) I've tried this so many times before and I can never keep up with it. I tend to lose motivation easily and give up, usually abandoning my blog within a month or so. Recently I've been on an organizational kick- I want to keep track of things, check chores off my to-do lists, and generally keep myself busy. I have a horribly bad habit of becoming lazy and unmotivated which leaves me feeling depressed. I'll admit I have a pessimistic personality, and it seems like keeping my mind and body occupied is the only solution to this.
Anyway, a bit about myself and my photography :)
My name is Simone and I'm a 19 year old city-girl-gone-country. I lived in the city for the greater part of my life before I moved to the southern United States in 2013. I've always loved photography and I've been self-taught since 2008. I tend to focus more on macro/diorama photography mostly, but recently I've been jumping out of my comfort zone to experiment with other subject matter. It's a passion of mine- when a camera is in my hands anywhere can feel like home.
This blog is mostly going to consist of my photography (although I may dabble in some other random stuff from time to time). I want to share my work somewhere, and since my Flickr account has been strictly for my diorama photography since 2009 I've decided to branch out and share my other work here!
I hope that in sharing my photography here on the internet I will gain the motivation I need to continue to improve and refine my skills! I also hope that someone somewhere can enjoy the images I take and maybe be inspired to take their own. :) Thanks for stopping by and reading my new blog- I hope to see you again soon!
